Information We Receive

We may collect, process, and store all information that you provide to us or that we may ask you to provide, such as your title, full name, postal address, email address, phone number, and credit card information.

How We Share Your Information

Your full name, email address, and organization will be shared with NWOCC members automatically as part of the NWOCC Membership List, and, if you sign-up to be pat of the NWOCC Mentorship Program, shared with other members within that program. Upon registration, you may opt-out of having your information shared as part of the Membership List. Note that your information will be temporarily listed, but we will remove it promptly if you opt-out. Upon cancellation, your information will automatically be removed from NWOCC's Membership List.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Data Retention

By registering with our website, you agree to the storage of the personal information you provide in your profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Your Rights to Your Data

If you have a membership on the Site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you upon cancellation of your membership. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Members and visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Policy or its subject matter shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the state of California, without giving effect to any conflict of laws provisions. More specifically, the federal and state courts located in the State of California, County of Los Angeles shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Policy or its subject matter.

We reserve the right to revise this Policy at any time by updating this page. If we make any changes, we will change the Effective Date below and by using the Site, you will be bound by any such revised versions of this Policy.
